I went out to Tuffy today because I was smelling fuel fumes. I thought it might be from a nick in a fuel line from when they replaced my sub frame and most of my front end sterring parts. When the car got on the lift, I was taken to see the problem, the resolution, and possible things that could go wrong with a fuel filter replacement job. That fuel filter was the problem. Once everything was explained in detail we moved on to fix the situation. Just like when they did all my front end steering work it went smooth and quick. In a short time the fix was done and I was on my way. The problems that could have happned did not. It has been my experience with auto repair, that after seeing the condition of the fule lines, another place would have sold me a much higher repair job that I did not need today. I know i sound like a walking commercial for Tuffy Mentor, but when you have this kind of service and professionalism you stick with it. I can not imagine anyone working on my car ever again except the Station street Tuffy in Mentor, Ohio. Jeff

I went in to have two struts installed on my car. Well, after the car was on the rack they came to walk me around the car and the problem I was having. As it turned out I did need struts, however; due to the careful examination of the service people, it was discovered that my sub frame was really bad and causing most of my steering troubles. What a surprise. This was totaly unexpected and of course more money than i expected to spend that day. There was no upsell here, they showed me everything and what it did and what it was not doing due to this problem. Not rushed and they were careful to be sure that i understood everything and could actually see the problem so that I could make a good decision. The total experience was a good one. Everyone there treated me with respect and took great care to explain things. If you are looking to get the straigt story on your car issue, I recommend that you talk to these guys. I must say I would never have believed that they provided this sort of quality service but they do. I will return to have the struts put on and any other work that I need in the future.
